The site is built from public data and source-checked provider pages. Corrections are handled by updating source mappings, extraction logic, data imports, or page caveats rather than silently editing facts without traceability.

Correction types

  • Official charity data: checked against the latest Charity Commission extract and official register page.
  • Derived metrics: reviewed against the relevant annual return, trustee, classification, area, or relationship input record.
  • Nonprofit benefits: updated only when an official provider page, help article, or clearly caveated source changes.
  • Publication decisions: changed through the documented profile completeness rules rather than manual one-off exceptions.

Public caveats

When a source is unavailable, region-limited, or ambiguous, the page should say so plainly. The OpenAI for Nonprofits page follows this rule by preserving official Business, Enterprise, API-discount, and BAA caveats.
